Just the other day I happened to press a button on my radio that my daughter had set up for me, pre-programmed radio station, and came across the beginnng of this audio presentation.

If you do nothing else today...please take the time to listen to this inspirational story with a humorous twist.  (Audio clip is at the end of this post!)

I could not help but connect that Joan loses her vision after working five years at a school with blind students.  Now, maybe a coincidence to some but when I realize that I have regained about 80% of lost vision in my eye since the MP, one has to deduct the connection of blindness and bacteria.

I'm also posting Joan's acronym for COURAGE, as they so apply to all of us on the MP:

C= Choices

O= Obstacles & Organization

U= Understand

R= Rage to Riches

A= Accept

G= Giggles

E= Encourage
