HI ALL

This is  Fred in WV.  I just read an article on the CompuServe What's New in an interview from PEOPLE reporting that Dr Oz had a colonoscopy and they found a adenomatous polyp, or precancerous growth.

It said he does everthing correct to prevent cancer. He even takes vit-D he has said on his TV show and tells others to take more.

It looks like the vit-D did not prevent him from a precancerour growth from happening.  Just another person taking vit-D and it did not prevent cancer but most likely caused it.

Remember, we are all in this together and I am pulling for us.

Your friend in Sarcoidosis
Freddie

Yes, Freddie you're right.  I really do like Dr. Oz, for the most part I think he gives some good advice and has a great program.  Unfortunately, this Vitamin D craze is going to come out one of these days and sadly by the time it does there will be a lot of sick people.

My son was pretty big on supplements and I was never comfortable with the amounts he was taking. Of course he is a grown man and I could only voice my opinion.   He has been complaining of aching joints for awhile and I asked him to consider having his D1,25 bloodwork ran.  He texted me yesterday to let me know it came back at 100.  I'm going to look over his results to see if the lab used is one that can be counted on for accuracy but even so this is still very high.  Mine was not even this high.  His sed rate came back at a 5, which I know can represent other problems.

Ahhhh....so much to learn!

Deb;)

Everybody is vitamin D deficient according to Dr Cannell at http://www.purityd.com.
peoples levels should be higher than 50 whatevers
I saw his infomercial at 5 am this morning.
He swears by it and is giving his product away for only 6.00 dollars for the shipping.
Try it for a few days and you will be buying his discount vitamin and food supplement supplies.

This should help bury him when a class action suit is brought against him.

Jlunn ...

Yeah, when they can arbitrarily state that you should be at a crazy level like 50 ng/ml they are automatically/artificially making almost everyone in the world deficient!

I guess we all have to just push back and ask: Why 50 ng/ml ??? And we are not accepting just some half-baked study results.
